Method 4: Turn Off Toner Save Mode

  5. After that, you need to select “Off”. Click on the Ok button to continue. 

Method 5: Replace Photo Conductor Unit

Some glitch present in the photoconductor unit can also cause this error. In such cases, you need to replace it using these steps:

  1. Firstly, turn off the power and unplug the power cable from the wall socket.
  2. Now, raise the scanner unit.
  3. Next, open the cover below the scanner unit.
  4. Raise the lever inside that cover.
  5. Remove the photoconductor unit.
  6. Take the new photoconductor unit, remove its protective sheet, and insert it into its position until it clicks shut.
  7. Now, lower the lever and close the cover.
  8. Lastly, put the scanner unit to its correct position.

You need to follow some precautions while changing the photoconductor unit. For example, avoid its exposure to light as it may reduce its performance.
