Step 1

After clicking on the installation option, now the license and agreement page will be notified on your screen. Click on the Next option while accepting all the terms and conditions. If this is your first time, then you need to uncheck both options such as: Uninstall the latest version and the other option is product status monitoring and Automatic updates. The other is Install the application software and the last one is Change the connection method only option. Choose the last one and click on the Next option. Now, you have to plug the USB cable or the printer.  Then, you need to connect with the internet and proceed with the next step. Thereafter, the software will detect the printer. Wait a few minutes to complete the procedure. After that, as soon as your printer gets detected, select it. In case, your printer’s name is not showing here, try to unplug the USB cable and plug it back again. Then again, click on the Next option.

Step 6  

Once we have completed the steps which we have mentioned in the earlier part of the article, now a pop-up will appear on your screen. It will ask you whether you want to join your printer with the same network as you are currently connected to. If you don’t want your printer to connect to the same network, then click on the No option or if you want so, click on the Yes option.  

If you click on the No option, then another window will appear on your screen. While searching for the other nearby Wi-Fi networks, you can choose any of the networks as per your preference. But make sure that you have connected to the same network as your laptop or computer currently connected to in order to access the printer. Click on the Next option and enter the provided password or the Wi-Fi network connection. Thereafter, again click on the Next option.  

Step 7

Once you have done with the steps which are mentioned in the previously discussed part or the article, now you can see the light above the Wi-Fi logo changing from orange to green. Now, your printer will try to get the Wi-Fi network and you will get the IP address from the DHCP server. When the light color settles to the green color, that means the connection is established.

Step 8

Thereafter, you will find a window while asking that if you want to change your IP address manually. By default, you will get it automatically and then click on the Next option. After that, you will get the IP address successfully. This is actually the MAC address for the printer.   

Step 9

At this step, you no longer need the USB cable plugged so you will need to unplug it. After that, your printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi, click on the Next option. Now, you are free to print a test page and you can go ahead. Then, click on the Finish option. After that, click on the Print button. Then, adjust the Printing properties and click on the Print option. Further, you can check if the printer is properly working or not.
