Step 1: Utilize the Feed Button of the Printer

The Green feed button is used to detect the size of the label of the printer. To do so, you need to press and release the Green feed button quickly.

Once you hold down the feed button, you will see that the lights on the printer get start flashing. Every light indicators are attached to the printer shows the different functions of your Zebra printer. 

Wait until the flashing stops and the light indicators get stable. This will get your printer ready to print a document.

Step 2: Cancel the “Unable to detect language” Error

While printing a document if you get the “unable to detect language” error, then this might happen due to the activeness of the “dump” mode of the printer. 

If this is the case, then to sort out this problem, you need to remove the printer from dump mode. And to do this, tap the Feed button on the printer once.

Step 4: Get Diagnostic Information Print Out

  1. Tap down the Feed button.
  2. Then, wait for the first flash.
  3. Next, release the Feed button.

Step 5: Solve Labels are Not Printing Correctly

After changing the labels with a new type or a different size, the printer starts the re-calibrating process to adjust accordingly. 

To manually perform the recalibrating task, go through the steps described below:

  1. At first, insert the rolls of the labels.
  2. After that, press down the Feed button.
  3. Keep holding the Feed button, until you see that the light flash twice.

If these steps don’t work, then try performing the below steps to properly fit the labels to use them on your Zebra printer.

  • Insert the label rolls, at first.
  • After that, tap down the Feed button and hold it until a group of seven flashes gets over.
  • Next, release the Feed button. This will start the re-calibration process.
  • Now, as a result, you will get a number of labels printout.
